The Leica DISTO D1 Laser Distance Meter is the world’s smallest distance meter with integrated Bluetooth Smart technology. We stripped the DISTO D1 down to just the basics because not everyone needs the functions like height tracking, area, volume, or point-to-point that you find in our other DISTO models. The D1 is perfect for quick and accurate interior measurements. It is small and very light. This is a real benefit when you are trying to measure at awkward angles or handling other tools. Whether you are measuring for interior carpentry, flooring, hanging pictures on a wall, or just checking to see if the furniture you’re looking at online will fit in your house, the D1 has you covered.

Using Bluetooth technology the DISTO D1 can be easily connected to the Leica DISTO Sketch app, which allows the user to create floor plans on their smartphone or tablet. It has a bright white display & an ISO-certified measuring engine that provides +/- 2 mm accuracy & a 40-meter measuring range. Up to 5000 measurements can be taken per set of AAA batteries.

The Leica DISTO D1 is our most basic, easy-to-use laser distance meter for quick and accurate interior measurements. Turn the D1 on, press the ON/DIST button, and you have an accurate measurement.

Accurate, far-reaching, and lightweight
With a range of 130 feet (39m) and an accuracy of 1/16th of an inch (2mm), the D1 has you covered for basic indoor measurement tasks. Compact and lightweight, the D1 is perfect for measuring at awkward angles or while handling other tools.

Not everyone needs functions like height tracking, area, or volume. The D1 is best suited for tasks like measuring for interior carpentry or flooring, checking dimensions for new furniture, or hanging pictures on a wall.
