The Leica Trace Rod 80 for DA Signal Transmitter traces the route of non-metallic drains, ducts, or pipes. Designed to trace pipes that do not produce their own signal and which you are unable to apply a signal.
The Leica Trace Rod 80 flexible rod is a tracing rod used in conjunction with the Signal Transmitter and Locator to trace non-conductive ducts or pipes up to 100mm (4″) in diameter. The Trace Rod is connected to the signal transmitter, inserted, and pushed along the utility under investigation. It can be used in Line or Sonde mode to trace the route of the duct or a blockage. Rod diameter is 4.5mm (0.2″), Sonde diameter is 8mm (0.3″).
The Trace Rod is available in lengths of 50m or 80m.
